The Cost of Procrastination (2006 Taxes)

Well I've finally completed my taxes for 2006! Nothing like waiting till the last moment. This issue is something that really bothers me because it tends to come up in other areas in my life. Waiting for things to happen; putting off what is painful. This year I knew that I would owe taxes and I didn't want to address it in the spring. "Too much going on" was my rationale. Now I'm drained, tired, and frustrated b/c I wonder if I could have "missed something". I don't really think that I did in terms of all the major items. I only hope that our politicians in Washington and Lansing know what the are doing with our tax dollars. Sometimes I wonder. That it for tonight. Lesson Learned: Don't procrastinate - its usually not worth it.

Dad -

I'm so glad you started this up! Excellent first entry. Short and sweet.

Three more days until class is over...then I can have a life and leave more insightful comments as well.

Love
